Caner Saygin, MD, is a board-certified oncologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating cancer in adults. With extensive training and experience in oncology, Dr. Saygin focuses primarily on patients with leukemia and blood disorders, including:

- Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)

He delivers individualized treatment plans and provides compassionate care for his patients. As a cancer expert, Dr. Saygin is dedicated to staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in cancer treatment, including newly emerging targeted therapies and immunotherapies. He is committed to helping his patients achieve the best possible outcomes in their cancer journey.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Saygin is a physician-scientist who investigates the mechanisms of leukemia, including how leukemias evolve from healthy blood cells in the bone marrow. This work includes studies on clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) and how CHIP progresses to acute leukemias. Dr. Saygin’s lab also focuses on developing new therapies for patients with leukemias, and he is passionate about translating his laboratory discoveries into clinical trials testing novel experimental therapies for leukemia patients. His research has been published in several, highly respected, peer-reviewed journals, such as Cell Stem Cell, Journal of Experimental Medicine, Leukemia, Clinical Cancer Research and Blood Advances. His clinical and laboratory studies have been funded by the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Prevent Cancer Foundation and Cancer Research Foundation.
