  • Press 1 to start a pediatric transfer
  • Press 2 to consult with a pediatric subspecialist
  • Press 3 to refer and schedule an outpatient appointment

Transfer calls include both a transfer center nurse and a pediatric physician, and are coordinated with the UChicago Aeromedical Network (UCAN). Often, one call is all it takes. On-call attending physicians and pediatric hospital medicine specialists are available 24 hours a day.
