Comprehensive Cancer Center members serve as principal investigators for many cancer-related NIH T32 and T35 training grants.

These grants support training programs in diverse areas of basic, behavioral, and clinical research related to addictions research, cancer biology, clinical therapeutics, genetics, immunology, medical oncology, medical physics, molecular biology and nutrition.

Faculty routinely take part in a variety of seminar series, joint programmatic meetings, and departmental retreats, which enrich these training programs and foster inter- and intraprogrammatic research collaborations. These grants fund the following programs:
