UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial is proud to expand access to advanced women’s health services, bringing top-tier expertise, compassionate care and specialized treatment closer to home for women and families across the Southland.From routine gynecologic care to high-risk pregnancy support, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and specialized gynecologic oncology services, our expanded offerings are designed to meet women where they are, with seamless care that evolves through every stage of life.
Our new Women’s Specialty Clinic, located in Suite 309 of the Professional Office Building and directly connected to the hospital, offers a convenient, centralized location for comprehensive care. The clinic features six exam rooms and a dedicated procedure room, improving access, efficiency and continuity of care.

Through collaboration with the University of Chicago Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, patients have access to advanced subspecialty care and high-risk pregnancy support without traveling far from home.

Women’s health extends beyond outpatient services. Ingalls Memorial continues to enhance inpatient care to support patients through pregnancy, delivery and beyond.
Our state-of-the-art Family Birth Center provides:
- Access to free prenatal classes
- Safe, supportive birth experiences — your birth, your way
- 23 private labor and postpartum suites
- Access to expert OB/GYN coverage and compassionate nursing care
- Two surgical suites
- A Level 2E Special Care Nursery, where our team provides advanced care for critically ill and premature infants
- Dedicated OB triage rooms
These efforts build on UChicago Medicine Ingalls’ long-standing dedication to improving maternal health outcomes through programs like the Healthy Baby Network, which connects expectant parents with education, care coordination and essential resources.

Strengthening Community Partnerships Across the Southland
UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial continues to collaborate and partner with community clinics to ensure access to OB/GYN care across the Southland. This includes strengthening partnerships with federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), such as Family Christian Health Center, and building new relationships with additional Southland FQHCs.By working alongside trusted community providers, UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial is helping ensure patients have continuity, from prenatal care through delivery and beyond, without fragmented systems or unnecessary barriers.
