Newborn and Infant Care for Expectant Parents
The Family Birth Center offers in-person and virtual infant care classes.
Whether you're a first-time parent or looking to refresh your skills as a caregiver or grandparent, our classes will help you feel ready for those early weeks at home. You’ll learn essential infant care techniques, including but not limited to:
- Bathing and diapering
- Dressing and swaddling
- Infant nutrition and feeding patterns
- Car seat safety
- When to seek medical attention
We may also cover normal newborn characteristics and behaviors, such as crying, sleep patterns, and early development. Parenting tips, supportive resources, and guidance for adjusting to life with a new baby are included.
