Plaque in honor of Eugene M. Feingold installed at Flossmoor Family Care Center
UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial recently honored longtime leader and supporter of the Ingalls Health System Eugene M. Feingold with a plaque and reception Jan. 17 at the Flossmoor center to celebrate his lifetime of service to the hospital.
Paul E. Donohue, Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Relations, welcomed a crowd of about 60 people to the event. Other presenters included Jonathan R. Goble, President of UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial; Dennis J. Irvin, Vice Chairman of UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Board of Directors; and Kurt E. Johnson, Past President of Ingalls Memorial Hospital.
Feingold has practiced as an attorney since the 1950s, primarily in Munster, IN. He was elected to Ingalls Board of Directors in 1983 and served in many positions on the board throughout his tenure. The plaque commemorates his years of dedicated service.
The plaque reads: “As a member of the Board of Directors for more than 35 years and 16 years as Chairman of the Board, Eugene M. Feingold has served Ingalls Memorial Hospital and Ingalls Health System with grace and distinction. Through his leadership and counsel, he played a major role in the development of our outpatient care services in Flossmoor and throughout the South Suburbs.
He and his wife Rosalind are annual donors to the Ingalls Development Foundation, on which Board he also serves.
Mr. Feingold has been an extraordinary leader and friend of Ingalls. In recognition of his outstanding service, the Flossmoor Family Care Center is named in his honor.”
