This meeting will focus on the recent studies demonstrating that simian virus 40 (SV40) is associated with a significant portion of human mesotheliomas as well as brain and bone tumors. This conference will review current understanding of the role of SV40 in the pathogenesis of human mesothelioma, bone tumors, and brain tumors. The audience will include scientists from around the world, pharmaceutical supporters, and attorneys interested in the possible consequences of these studies.
