Edward Naureckas, MD, is an expert in pulmonary conditions including asthma, adult cystic fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). He specializes in pulmonary function testing to determine the cause and severity of complex lung disorders.
Dr. Naureckas researches strategies for improving care for asthma, COPD and cystic fibrosis. As a co-investigator in the National Institutes of Health AsthmaNet and the American Lung Association Asthma Clinical Research Network, he participates in nationwide multi-center clinical trials of asthma therapy. He is also a principle investigator for the CONCERT COPD network and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-sponsored Therapeutics Development Network.
